The Inbox top bar used to eat into the space you needed for reading conversations, and switching between inbox views meant keeping the full Inbox menu open.

Here's what's new:

Inbox top bar removed
: more vertical space for reading and replying
Expandable global navigation bar
: keep the workspace compact, or expand it when you want more context on screen
Collapsed Inbox toolbar
: jump between My Inbox, Collaborators, and Mentions in one click, without opening the full Inbox menu (useful on smaller laptop screens)
Profile settings moved into the global navigation
: same place, every part of the platform
