Build custom user roles and permissions
Out-of-the-box roles like Admin or Staff don't always match how your business is structured — leaving people with too much access, or not enough to do their jobs.

Roles and permissions (under General Settings → Company settings) are now available to
all Enterprise and Premium plan users
. Super admins can create custom roles, group permissions however they need, and assign them across the team.A few things you can do:
- Create up to 20 custom roles— tailor access to how your teams actually work, beyond the four default roles
- Granular controls per module— set permissions across Inbox, Contacts, Broadcasts, Flow Builder, Analytics, Ticketing, SleekFlow AI, and more
- Scope by ownership— limit what users see to their own conversations and contacts, their team's, or the whole workspace
- Duplicate and edit roles— start from an existing role and adjust, instead of building from scratch
For example, a retail brand can give store-level agents access only to conversations assigned to their team, while regional managers see everything across their stores — without exposing data from other regions.
